Reflexology and your body's cells
Reflexology may boost the body by increasing circulation in the transportation of energy to all the cells of the body and in removing the waste products, thereby helping to prevent disease.
Remember that anything you do in your life has a huge impact on your body's cells.
Reflexology and your skin
Reflexology may aid to revitalise the condition of your skin by encouraging any nerve supply and sufficient blood reaching all parts of it.  By stabilising the production of sebum and keeping bacteria levels under control, reflexology may help also to diminish the incidence of skin-related conditions such as acne or eczema for example.
Reflexology and your skeleton
Reflexology may promote healthy bones by helping the distribution and the absorption  of vitamin D and minerals into the bones.  It may also ease ache and pains in the joints associated with arthritis, improving general mobility and  help healing fractures.  Please do note that reflexology cannot be given on a broken foot or hand.
Reflexology and your circulation
Reflexology may also help increasing blood circulation, thereby a good blood flow helps all body organs to thrive.   Sometimes circulation can become sluggish, by reducing stress and tension, Reflexology may help towards a natural and easy blood flow so your body can benefit from it.
Reflexology and your digestion
After receiving a reflexology treatment, it is well known to have a bowel movement because your body wants to clean out the colon and expel toxins. Sometimes this waste is the root of raising cholesterol and  estrogen levels in your body.  By removing waste products efficiently this prompts to a better absorption of the nourishment from a well balance died and leads to a better health and general well-being.  Please don't hesitate to ask me for some advice on how to improve your diet I will be happy to support you.
Reflexology and your nervous system
Reflexology is known that it has an analgesic affect by reducing pain, releasing endorphin (which are your natural painkillers) into your system.  Reflexology aids in controlling the stress level and opening the neural pathways.  There is so much that science is trying to understand why reflexology is powerful to the brain but here is an article which will help you understand why.
Reflexology and your hormones
Reflexology may improve the distribution and balance of your hormones.  As it is a gentle and non-invasive therapy, it works on your endocrine glands to help regulate the production of your hormones.  It may help increasing your level of energy, stabilise your moods, reduce menstrual and/or menopausal issues.
Reflexology and your lymphatic system
Receiving regular reflexology treatments may help you boast your lymphatic system which consequently can help your body to fight illness and disease. Reflexology assists in the reduction of number of colds and helps you to stay healthier.
See the work of Sally Kay on the lymphatic drainage.  I am trained to do RLD (Reflexology Lymph Drainage)..
Reflexology and your lungs
When receiving reflexology, your body relaxes and you tend to take deeper breaths.  When you are nervous and stressed you tend to take shallow breaths consequently your body does not take enough oxygen for your body's cells to function properly.  Reflexology can help to improve the function of your lungs and diaphragm by increasing the quantity of air being breathed in and out. Reflexology can help for respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, influenza and the common cold.
Reflexology and your kidneys
Reflexology may help the urinary system by distributing water around the body and improving its circulation.  Reflexology may also help with the functioning of the kidneys and waste removal and sodium and combating urinary tract infections like cystitis for example.
Reflexology and your reproductive system
Reflexology and a holistic approach of your lifestyle can help towards balancing your hormone, creating healthier and stronger sperm and enhancing ovulation. I have been trained in conception reflexology with Sally Earlam, Head of Training and Education for the Association of Reflexologists.
So now are you convinced that Reflexology can help you one way to another?
After all if you don't try you will never know!
NB: Reflexology does not replace conventional medicine. Reflexology does not cure or diagnose.
