Conception to pregnancy and beyond
Maternity Reflexology is a holistic approach to health to help:
couples to conceive
supporting women during pregnancy, labour and the post-natal period
I have been trained in Maternity Reflexology using powerful techniques with many successful stories.
Reflexology is an excellent and SAFE therapy for men and women to receive when trying to conceive a baby. Sometimes it may be very - tressful as it can take a bit longer to conceive despite no obvious medical reasons. In this instance reflexology will help to calm and reduce any stress and fears. This in turn may improve your energy levels and allow your body's own natural healing abilities to cope better with any anxiety of conceiving.
Specific powerful techniques are used to help rebalance the body's hormones, stimulate circulation, detoxifying the body.
It is advisable you inform your fertility consultant or GP that you are receiving reflexology.

Reflexology may help easing pregnancy discomforts such as:
Symphysis pubic pain (SPD) or also called Pelvic girldle pain (PGG)
Backache and sciatica
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Nausea and vomiting
Oedema (swelling of the ankles, wrists or fingers)
Combined with moxibustion therapy and reflexology, I have had success in helping baby turning head down.
In Denmark and in the UK, research has shown women who have had regular treatment during their pregnancy have shorter labour time and have less pain killers.
Reflexology can be helpful:
reduction of pain relief
avoiding induction of labour for women who have passed their due date.
Supporting you after birth
After the birth of your child, it is an important time to re-balance the hormones to avoid post-natal depression. Reflexology can help assist your metabolism to work more efficiently. Reflexology can even help to stimulate breast milk and uterine contractions. I provide 'Mum & Baby treatment' until baby crawls so you can still have that bonding relaxing time together and baby can also have a treatment.
